Requirements

What youll do:
 

Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting, evaluating, and summarising exposures and controls.

Work with claims, the client and the broker where appropriate to develop customised loss control programmes including locations to be surveyed.

Generate and review required reports and recommendations.

Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss control reports and recommendations.

Check and ensure quality of work provided by 3rd parties.

What youll need:
 

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Risk Consultant from the Insurance industry essential

Bachelors degree in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Engineering discipline

Knowledge of the NFPA, FM Global, VDS, and ASIB design standards to assist with design reviews for national and international standards

Analysis of industrial engineering aspects, process and mechanical analysis/review e.g. FMEA, PSM, structural and mechanical integrity analysis, condition based maintenance Advantageous
