Lighting retailer based in Gauteng is looking for a store manager.
The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years previous retail management experience and must have knowledge and experience in electrical and/or lighting products.
Duties include managing the sales budget, stock control, managing the sales team, new business and managing supplier relations. Overall branch management. Very pressurised position.
This candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of finances and general profitable store operation. Customer services and sales is also part of the duties as is management of the staff.
Previous retail management experience essential. Systems and controls experience essential.
The client is offering basic salary for the initial fixed term contract period of 3 months. Thereafter, full benefits including profit share.
Retail hours apply including weekends and public holidays.
